ISOsp1 is 65% aa similar to ISGsu1. ISOsp1 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISRso13 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-65-D(N3)-103-E(C1). The sequencing of the Oceanobacter sp. RED65 chromosome is currently in progress. Accession: NZ_AAQH00000000.
